This Privacy Policy describes how Buck & Rider (“Buck & Rider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit buckandrider.com (the “Site”), visit one of our restaurant locations, sign up for our communications, make a reservation, place an order, purchase a gift card, apply for a job, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
Buck & Rider is a seafood and steak restaurant group with locations in Camelback/Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and Gilbert, Arizona, with a Naples, Florida location opening soon. Buck & Rider is part of the Hi Noon Hospitality family of restaurants.

2. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide Directly
- Newsletter sign-up: When you submit the “Keep In Touch” form, we (or our form provider) collect your email address and any other details you enter.
- General inquiries: If you email us (e.g., regarding media, donations, real estate/development, or careers), we collect the contents of that email and your contact information.
- Reservations: Reservations are made through our partner SevenRooms. When you book a table, SevenRooms collects your name, phone number, email address, and any dining preferences or notes you provide. See Section 4 below.
- Private events: Private dining inquiries are handled through our partner Tripleseat, which collects your contact and event details.
- Gift cards: Gift card purchases are processed through our partner Givex, which collects payment and contact information needed to complete the transaction.
- Online ordering: If you place an order through our online ordering platform (order.buckandrider.com), that transaction is governed by that platform’s own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
- Job applications: If you apply for a position, your application materials (resume, contact details, work history, etc.) are collected through our recruiting partners, Paylocity and CareerPlug.
b. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and referring/exit pages
- Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address)
- Information collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 3)
c. Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party service providers described in this Policy (e.g., SevenRooms, Tripleseat, Givex, Paylocity, CareerPlug), as well as from social media platforms if you interact with our pages there.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit): We use Google’s Site Kit plugin, which includes Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our Site (e.g., pages viewed, time on site, general location, device/browser information). This data is aggregated and used to improve the Site. Google may also use this data consistent with Google’s own privacy policy. - Functional cookies: Used to support site features such as location-selection popups and menu pop-ups (via Popup Maker).
- Embedded third-party content: Pages on our Site may embed content from third parties (for example, social media posts/widgets from Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and an architectural project gallery from Architect Magazine). These third parties may set their own cookies and collect information about your interaction with that content, governed by their own privacy policies.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the Services, including operating our Site and restaurant locations
- Process and confirm reservations, private event inquiries, gift card purchases, and online orders
- Respond to inquiries (media, careers, real estate/development, donations, general questions)
- Send marketing or promotional communications, such as our newsletter, if you’ve opted in
- Evaluate job applications
- Analyze Site usage and improve content, design, and functionality
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, property, and safety of Buck & Rider, our guests, and others
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including:
- SevenRooms (reservations)
- Tripleseat (private events)
- Givex (gift cards)
- Paylocity and CareerPlug (recruiting/job applications)
- Google (analytics, via Site Kit)
- Our website hosting and email/form providers
- Hi Noon Hospitality affiliated restaurants, for internal administrative purposes
- Legal and safety purposes, where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Each third-party service listed above has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your information; we encourage you to review those policies directly.
6. Job Applicants
If you apply for a position with Buck & Rider, your application materials are submitted through and stored by our recruiting partners, Paylocity and CareerPlug. Please review their respective privacy policies for details on how application data is handled. We use this information solely to evaluate candidates for employment.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Privacy Choices
- Marketing emails: You may opt out of our newsletter/marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us directly.
- Cookies: You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.
- California residents: If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request access to, deletion of, or details about the personal information we have collected about you, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the information below.
- Other state privacy laws: Depending on your state of residence, you may have similar rights. We will respond to verifiable requests consistent with applicable law.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Links
Our Site contains links to third-party websites and services (including reservation, ordering, gift card, and recruiting platforms, as well as social media pages) that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
